Hello, I am looking at your new site and have enjoyed your older ones and kept coming back. Your instructions are very easy to follow. I also looked at your labels and who you went to. As I recall, I contacted the same label company for some labels for my self to start out with and the same label company you use wanted a minimum order and a lot of money. They did send me samples but they were not in my budget at all, being that I am not in the clothing manufacturing or selling clothes now, but needed them for what I do sew and create. My budget was not over one hundred dollars at tops. All of these label companies insist on minimum order and a high dollar price beyond my budget. You have very good information on labels that I was not aware of , thank you.
I also researched this website for fun personal labels and many many others, I found
http://www.namemaker.com/ and am awaiting my order from them. Also if you go to retailmenot.com you can usually find a % off coupon as well. Good luck!
Cassie- Thanks so much for the reference to http://www.namemaker.com! I ordered some today. Dana- LOVE your stuff. Thanks so much for all of your hard work!
Hi,
I have read almost all of your tutorials and you are making thing easy to look at.
Bravo to your tutorials as they are very informative and easy to follow. I have thought of starting an online dress shop but I am afraid to fail because I do not know much of sewing and the like; but you have encouraged me again! I wasn’t able to find a good seamstress here in our area, moreover I would want a personal touch to my products. It would be so overwhelming to see others wearing my dresses. I am very willing to read and study (online) more about sewing so I could start my own business sooner. Please do not stop adding easy tutorials. I really enjoyed reading them!
Love your new site ;o) Hugs, Kim C ^i^
love your site – thank you for your great tutorials & pictures. I can’t wait to try the pj pants for my grandkids:) Thank you bunches for sharing:)))
Hi Dana! Just wanted to thank you for your very well written tutorials for the kid pants. I always thought trousers were complicated to make, but thanks to you I have made three pairs in two days for my little boy. He’s 19 months old and your pattern fits him exactly. I am so glad your little boy is also tall and thin

Hi again!
Just wanted to share the pants I made using your tutorial. I wrote about them on my blog (http://shibbiesays.blogspot.com/2012/01/creashibbie-21-nieuwe-broekjes-voor.html). But most likely you don’t speak Dutch, so you can go straight to the photos: http://shibbiesays.blogspot.com/p/creashibbie_12.html
thanks again!

Hello!
I found your site through Craftzine and I’ve been looking at all of your ideas for quite awhile. See, I’ve been trying to figure out how to take my little clothing designs and make patterns for them. This is all really helpful! Not to mention all of the girls clothes are super cute (I’ll probably be making some for myself, I won’t lie). Keep making the awesome tutorials!
Hi Dana,
I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been an avid follower of yours since I first started sewing about three years ago. You have given me so much inspiration and courage to try new things over the years, not to mention so many fun project ideas. I can honestly say that about 85% of the skills that I have now are due to working on projects that I have discovered here. Thank you so much for being here for all of us self-taught sewers! You rock!
Audrey

I just started sewing and your tutorials are so easy to follow. I just used your Simple Skirt tutorial to make a skirt for my 2 year old daughter using the dust ruffle of her old crib bedding for the fabric. It turned out amazingly cute!!! Thanks for making a beginner feel like a pro!
I love your layered skirt tutorial, thank you!
I made my first layered skirt (check http://shibbiesays.blogspot.com/2012/05/creashibbie-27-een-dansrokje.html), but I reckon loads more will follow!

hi dana,
i really love your site! wonderful pictures that make me want to sew all day and rearrange my entire house!
it happened only reacently that i became really good friends with my sewing-machine. now that i have read through several of your tutorials it seems, that if i want this relationship to prosper, it might be a good idea to become friends with my iron as well… that’s a tough one… i’ll let you know how things turned out.
have fun, from now on i will be checking your site regularly, thanks for the inspiration!
I am VERY new to sewing! I had only made a pair of basic capri pants (last week) when I found your site! I had never even mended a tear in something by hand-sewing. : ) Yesterday I made the Warhol dress (I uploaded a picture to your flickr group). Of course there is a great deal of room for improvement…mine doesn’t look NEARLY as wonderful as yours does.
Thank you for sharing your talents with everyone. Your instructions are in “normal” terms & easy to follow. They make someone who is new to sewing (like me) really want to jump in & make things all of the time! Your tutorials have given me the confidence to tackle sewing with full force! : )
i am falling in love with your tutorial.yours is such a delicacy work of needle that will keep bringing a sewer back again and again.
thank you
I’m a fan. Love your website. Thanks!
Your tutorials are AMAZING! I am a beginner and have been able to easily follow them. I’ve had my machine for a week or two and have been turning out amazing outfits for my kids (both son and daughter)! I also love how organized your website is. Please keep adding, I love seeing the new things you’ve put up! Thanks again!
this is amazing!!!! I´m your new fan! kisses from Argentina!
From sewing clothing to homewares, to cooking – you are seriously amazing and very inspiring! I’ve already tried your basic pant tutorial, which turned out great and I’m so chuffed with myself
Can’t wait to try all your other tutes – and perhaps even try one of the cooking ones! God knows I need as much help as I can get in that department.
I frequent your site so often, I feel like I know you well enough to say “Hey Dana!” – I dropped by today because I remember reading a great little tip about elastic casings as I was struggling with one today, and it was there, waiting to help me figure out where I derailed . . . and got me back on track. I am a newbie seamster, and have completely fallen in love with the craft – cool by itself, certainly, but with a lot of credit going to your blog, tutorials, tips, photos, funny random interjections, etc. as well as a few other great blogs and seamsters out there. Thanks for being so generous with your incredible talent and creativity, and thanks for presenting it in a way that always puts a smile on my face!
Gracias por compartir los tutoriales con nosotras. Un abrazo y beso desde Argentina!
I just came across this website and I just love it! Thank you for having such an organized, user friendly site!
I have just found your web site. It is amazing. I may have overlooked the doll pattern skirt tutorial. Please help me find it. Thanks.
Sometimes I just want to reach through the internet and hug you. I’m back to the tutorials today to make new pants for my poor high-water, holey-kneed kids. (They don’t care that their pants are too short, but I do!) I made three pairs of your shorts last summer for my son and they are fantastic. I’m looking forward to an evening of pants making care of Dana. Many thanks for all these fantastic tutorials and for your blog. I always enjoy it.
i love your tutorials
Thank you so much for you fabulous tutorial on circle skirts. I had to make whirling dervish costumes and 6 additional skirts for a school play. I have minimal sewing skills and thanks to your tutorial it was a breeze. I used round table cloths (from the reject pile) that a rental party place sold for $6 each. All stains were easily covered with fabric paint. All the skirts were white and I have no doubt that I will be able to dye them and use them for another play in the future. Thank you again!!!!
I really like your blog! You are so creative and a very inspirational mum. Well done!
It’s so great! thanks a lot for your sharing. keep going on pls.
God bless you real good for sharing, am coming across your tutorials for the 1st time and its awesome, uve made my day
Bravo for all the great tutorials! I just became a (doting) grandma to twins and love all the gift ideas that I can make for my little ones ….used to be an heirloom sewer with smocks, but my daughter prefers simple and hip styles.
You are a very artistic and clever sewer, please keep on giving great tutos!
What a beautiful blog you have!
