Day 14: 3 minute, 3 Ingredient Mint Fudge

When I asked blogging friends to help out with Sweets and Treats I really hoped someone would share a recipe for fudge.
Mmmmm.
Of all treats I’ve made…I’ve never done fudge! How has that happened?
So hooray for Vanessa of V and Co! She’s totally coming through for us. And with a 3 minute, 3 ingredient recipe? Um, Winning.
(sorry, that’s so 8 months ago).
Seriously though, even if you’re not a chocolate eater, keep on reading just so you can enjoy Vanessa’s lovely pictures. She has a knack for making things look pretty and clean and like you want to make it all…like her cool fabric ornaments. Check those out too.

This fudge can go by many names: simple mint fudge, increase your jean size fudge, make your friends fat so you look good fudge…but I went with the “makes you wanna make it cause you don’t have time to keep up with the perfect homemaker down the street name”: 3 minute, 3 ingredient mint fudge.

Seriously, it’s so easy that you can whip this bad boy up for neighbor gifts in like well…3 minutes. and have it look like you slaved away for hours (when really you made it and then ate some before you brought it over).
Ready to try it out?

3 Minute, 3 Ingredient Mint Fudge
(1) 14 oz can condensed milk
(1) 14 oz package of semi sweet chocolate chips.
(1) 10 oz package of Andes mint chips
*optional garnish of crushed candy canes

Instructions:
1. In a bowl combine the Chocolate and Andes mint chips
2. Add condensed milk and mix.
3. Microwave everything for three minutes. Stir till smooth.
4. Pour into a 9 x 9 pan for thick squares or a 9 x13 pan for thin squares

For added garnish, crush peppermint candies or candy canes, sprinkle them on top and let the fudge cool.


Tada!
Place them on a cookie platter, or in a little bag for neighbor gifts, or just eat them all, I don’t judge.

Oh my! I just got around to making this fudge and it is sinfully good! It is going to be hard to not have it for every meal tomorrow. Damn you! ;)

Oh this is good! I just made this totally delish fudge, and by just made, I mean licking it warm off the spoon. Could this be any easier?!? Or quicker? Or Simpler? Seriously. Good. :)

Wow, yum! But I’ve never seen anything like these mint baking chips in Aussie shops before… Could I just use candy canes instead or do they have a particular baking/melting capacity that is necessary to make the fudge work? Thanks…

Tanya I have been making this for years and have only been able to find the chips once. You can just use a box of Andes mints and unwrap them all. They sell them in boxes of 28 thin mints if you can find them.
