The other day Lucy wanted to send a letter to her Grandma. She colored a picture, wrote out names on the envelope, put “treats” inside (2 fruit leathers for Grandma and Grandpa). And I thought….we should add a picture of the kids in there too.
Lucy was totally on board.
So we grabbed a Chuck E. Cheese photo and gave it a cereal box embellishment (don’t you love those sketch drawings?) It was easy fun!
Lucy wrapped it up and we placed it in the envelope with the rest of the goods.
Now Grandma can enjoy her new fridge magnet.
A simple handmade gift with many possibilities.
We need to make more.

I did this craft for a make-it/take-it table and most of the kids loved it, including my own, but the earthy/granola child turned her nose up at it, as did her mom. They didn’t know what they were missing!
